Ramakrishna Mission School Overview
The history of Ramakrishna Mission School Admission dates back to the early establishment of Arunachal Pradesh when education was identified as the utmost priority. The government and citizens of the state reached out to the Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission at Belur Math, requesting the opening of educational institutions to provide quality education to the children of Arunachal Pradesh. Thus, on 1st July 1972, Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar, began its journey with 25 girls and 83 boys. As the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission School was established in 1975, the girls were shifted to Khonsa. During this time, the literacy rate of Arunachal Pradesh was merely 11.27% based on the 1971 census. On 21 April 1974, the foundation stone of the present school building was laid by Shri V. V. Giri, the President of India. Later, on 4 November 1978, it was inaugurated by Shri Morarji Desai, the Prime Minister of India. The school's growth continued, and on 30 March 1986, the
