Whitehall School Overview
Whitehall School was founded on July 10, 1992 in Haldwani by Mr. J.S. Lal with the aim of providing education to the local and rural population in Unchapul, Haldwani. Prior to the establishment of Whitehall School, there were no English Medium Schools in the area, forcing children to travel long distances of 10 to 12 kilometers to receive education. After consulting with the community, the idea of starting a small school was warmly received and supported. This led to the establishment of the first academic session in 1992, enrolling 35 students from Nursery to Grade Two. Qualified teachers were hired for these grades and a society was formed to oversee the operation of the school. Over the years, Whitehall School has undergone continuous development and expansion. Currently, the school offers classes from Nursery to Class XII in Aanpur Nawad, Lamachaur. The school strives to provide excellent education and facilities to its students.
