Cambridge Nursery School Overview
The Cambridge Foundation School, located in Rajouri Garden, was established on 4th July 1966 by the Cambridge Foundation Society with the aim of providing Excellence in Education and All Round Development. Initially, the school operated from a residential building in Rajouri Garden, where a small nursery and kindergarten were set up under the guidance of late Shri BS Murthy, former Minister for Health and Family Planning, Govt. of India, by Mrs Sheila Verma and the late Mr Brem Dutt Verma. The school gained recognition up to the middle level in 1969, and milestones in the expansion of its physical infrastructure were achieved when Ms. Sheila Verma laid the foundation stone on 2nd October 1977 with the participation of school children and dedicated staff. Eventually, on April 29, 1978, the school was relocated to its present premises at Rajouri Garden Extension in New Delhi, covering a sprawling 4-acre campus.
