Assam Rifles Public School Overview
Assam Rifles Public School, Jorhat, was established in October 1980 at its current location in Jorhat. In its initial phase, the school offered classes from I to III with a small number of students. In 2005, the school received affiliation to run classes XI and XII, and in the academic session 2007-08, it achieved a milestone as its first batch of XII students appeared for the board examinations. Additionally, it holds the designation of a Sports School under the "KHELO INDIA SCHEME" by the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The school actively participates in promoting sports and offers seats to children sponsored by the Sports Authority of India, the North Eastern Council, as well as civilian students. The school's commitment to both academic and sports excellence positions it as a comprehensive institution providing a well-rounded education to its students.
