Salwan Public School, a renowned educational institution, has a rich history rooted in the noble vision of its founder, Late Pt. Girdhari Lal Salwan. Born in 1902, Pt. Salwan recognized the disparity in access to quality education and dedicated himself to providing education to the underprivileged, disregarding social and economic backgrounds. In 1942, he established the Salwan Education Trust, which laid the foundation for several schools. The Salwan Sanatan Dharam High School for Boys and Salwan Sanatan Dharam High School for Girls were established in 1942 in Peshawar, marking the beginning of Pt. Salwan's dream of education for all.
