Shiv Nadar School Overview
In 2012, the Shiv Nadar Foundation ventured into K12 urban private school education with the mission to surpass existing education standards and provide exceptional learning experiences to students. Instead of following conventional rote learning, we started with a small number of students and teachers in two schools, Noida and Gurgaon, with the aim of fostering holistic development and lifelong learning. Our focus has always been on the student, and we employ progressive and personalized learning methods to achieve this. At our schools, learning is not linear but multidimensional and experiential. Students are actively engaged in activities such as playing, performing, experimenting, and interacting. We encourage them to pursue values and understand their roles in the broader community and world. Our educational practices incorporate experiential pedagogy and extensive use of technology. We also place great emphasis on sports and the arts in our curriculum.
