Patasala Elementary School Overview
Patasala Elementary School was established in 1989 by Ms. Bhavani Kumar, who holds a Master's degree in literature. Her passion for working with young children led her to embrace the Montessori Method of education, which emphasizes natural and cooperative learning in a friendly environment. Recognizing the value of this approach, Ms. Kumar obtained an International Diploma in Primary Montessori education from the prestigious Association Montessori Internationale, Amsterdam (AMI) in 1995. She later acquired a Montessori Elementary diploma from AMI, enabling her to establish the Elementary environment at Patasala in June 2003. Today, Patasala has flourished into a vibrant educational institution, catering to the needs of over a hundred children from the ages of two and a half to twelve. The school consists of two Primary environments for children between the ages of 2 and 6, as well as one Elementary environment for children aged 6 to 12. Each environment accommodates 35 students and is staffed by two dedicated Montessori trained teachers. Patasala
