C.S.I. Jessie Moses School, Annanagar, formerly known as Bain School, was established in 1978 and has a rich history. It started as a primary school in a rented building and has now become a recognized institution by the Education Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The school operates under the jurisdiction of the Directorate of School Education and the Directorate of Matriculation Schools. Miss. Jessie Moses, the former Principal and Correspondent of C.S.I. Bain School, Kilpauk, Chennai – 10, founded C.S.I. Jessie Moses School to cater to the educational needs of children in Annanagar. The school was inaugurated on 3rd July 1978, and the opening ceremony was officiated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Sundar Clarke, then Bishop in Madras.
