Rosary Convent High School Overview
The school commenced operations in January 1904 on a modest scale, initially catering to 60 students in Tamil Medium and 50 in English Medium. Motivated by a desire to contribute positively to society, the FMM nuns recognized education as crucial for societal advancement. They actively encouraged parents to enroll their children in school and reassured the community that their missionary endeavors were solely aimed at selfless service. The nuns engaged in various community activities, including work in churches, hospitals, and embroidery centers. They tirelessly advocated for education, persuading and encouraging parents to prioritize their children's schooling and overall grooming.
