The Home School Overview
The Home School, located in Nagegowdanapalya, Bangalore, India, holds the distinction of being one of the oldest schools in the area. Founded in 1930 by Ms. Robinson, a North American missionary, and Ms. Donne, a British lady, this educational institution was established to address the need for a quality school in the Basavanagudi neighborhood and its surrounding areas. Ms. Robinson, who had previously served as the Principal of Baldwins High School, Bangalore, envisioned a school that would provide excellent education to both boys and girls. Today, The Home School carries forward this vision by offering education from Kindergarten to the seventh standard. Aligned with the Karnataka State syllabus, The Home School ensures that students receive a well-rounded education with a strong foundation. As part of their curriculum, students in the seventh standard undergo a public examination. This comprehensive approach to education helps prepare students for future academic endeavors. At The Home School, students benefit from various facilities designed to enhance their learning experience.
