Lowry Memorial High School Overview
The origins of Lowry Adventist College date back to 1915 when it was founded by Elder G.G. Lowry in Coimbatore. Later, in 1921, the school was relocated to temporary accommodations in Bangalore Cantonment. Recognizing the need to cater to Kannada-speaking individuals, another boarding school was established in Basavanagudi, Bangalore in 1931. Lowry Adventist College places great importance on providing a top-notch higher education experience. They strive to create an ideal environment where faculty and students can work together to seek, evaluate, and acquire the knowledge, skills, virtues, and understanding necessary for a lifelong journey of education, service, and leadership. Through their efforts, they aim to promote God's mission both directly and indirectly across the globe. This institution not only runs two secondary schools affiliated with the State Board and ICSE Council in New Delhi, but it has also launched a College of Nursing affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in Bangalore, Karnataka State, India.
