The Cambridge School was established in July 1989 as a preparatory school for both boys and girls, operating under the name "Sarthak Sansthan" in Indra Nagar Colony, Vasant Vihar - Dehradun. In April 1995, "Sarthak Sansthan" was rebranded as "The Cambridge School" to champion the cause of universal and quality education, guided by the motto "Knowledge is Power." With remarkable growth and progression, the school expanded to offer education up to the class XII level. Consequently, the school's board of directors and management embarked on the development of the present campus located at 461, Khubura - Dehradun. The school has diligently adhered to all the standards and requirements set forth by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and has obtained a no-objection certificate from the Uttarakhand Government.
