Army Public School Overview
Army Public School Kirkee, located in the serene surroundings of the BEG & Centre, is dedicated to providing the children of Army personnel with a top-notch education and ensuring their admission at any place of posting. Established in 1974 as a Balak Mandir of the Bombay Sappers, the school quickly gained popularity and in 1981 it was renamed as the Bombay Sappers Public School. By 1984, it became an Army School under the supervision of the Army Welfare Education Society. The school received CBSE affiliation right away and successfully conducted its first batch of Class X exams in March 1999. In 2003, Class XI (Science) was introduced, followed by Class XII (Science) and Class XI (Commerce) in 2004. The school further expanded its academic offerings by including the Humanities stream in 2008. As a result, Army Public School Kirkee became a fully-fledged Senior Secondary institution offering all three streams.
