The Police Public School, established on June 1st, 2008, initially had a student population of 350 from LKG to 6th grade, exclusively comprising the children of police officers. Priority was given to those belonging to the lowest category of the police force. To secure admission, students needed to successfully pass an entrance examination. Starting from the academic year 2009-2010, the school opened up 30% of its admissions to the general public. This decision aimed to foster a strong bond with the public and ensure a diverse student body from various backgrounds. The school is dedicated to the well-being of police children, hence providing them with an optimal academic environment. Its success depends on the unwavering cooperation of all stakeholders. The Karnataka State Reserve Police multipurpose society manages the Police Public School as a welfare initiative, aiming to offer high-quality education to the children of police personnel, especially those from the lower ranks.
