Sacred Heart Girls' High School, a prestigious educational institution, is under the administration of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Founded by St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, a compassionate and loving individual who valued each person's uniqueness, the congregation holds a deep love for humanity. In 1854, five devoted sisters arrived from France to Bangalore, inspired by the love and compassion of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Within a short period of time, they established various works of the Good Shepherd, including the opening of a Boarding and Day School for Europeans and Anglo Indians known as Sacred Heart High School. Today, the Sisters of the Good Shepherd Convent and the dedicated staff of Sacred Heart Girls' High School continue to strive towards the holistic development of each student, recognizing and nurturing their individuality. The aim is to cultivate strong characters grounded in high principles and truth.
