Army Public School Samba Overview
Army Public School Samba, established on July 1, 1997, originally operated as Army Model School. It gained recognition as Army School, Samba when it received a letter from AWES (Army Welfare Education Society) with reference number B/45704/04/NC-18/AWES/CW-4 (a) - 3, dated June 16, 1977. Beginning as a nursery school in June 1972, the Army Model School gradually expanded, offering classes up to VIII in 1988. It later became affiliated with the J&K Board of Education, and in 1996, it extended its academic offerings to include class X. Currently, the school holds provisional affiliation with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) up to class XII.
