The Kailash Bahl D A V Centenary Public School in Chandigarh has a rich history. It was founded on 1st February 1994 by Principal B.S. Bahl, Vice President of DAV CMC, New Delhi and Chairman of the School. The founder Principal, Mrs. Madhu Bahl, was entrusted with the responsibility of starting a public school in Sector 7-B, Chandigarh on a 3-acre land that was undeveloped at the time. In April of the same year, the School commenced its first session with the admission of 94 students from Classes I to IV. The School had four teachers and four classrooms. Within a year, the School's strength grew to 350 students in the session of 1995. Principal Madhu Bahl and her team worked hard to establish the School as one of the best public schools in the tri-city. In October 1995, the School was renamed as Kailash Bahl D A V Centenary Public School in memory of Mrs. Kailash Bahl. Mrs. Bahl was the
