Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, based in Sector-40-C, Chandigarh, was established in 1986 under the Chief Khalsa Diwan, Amritsar. In 2011, it was renamed as Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. The school is named after the eighth Guru, Sri Harkrishan Sahib, and focuses on empowering young minds through spiritual and educational philosophies. The institution has achieved many milestones and now stands as a four-story building with well-lit and airy classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, and a library. It also boasts a computer room, all of which are a source of pride and prestige. The School Management Committee, with the support of generous philanthropists, has raised substantial funds to establish this impressive infrastructure. The school does not receive any government or external aid.
