De Paul Public School Overview
De Paul Public School, a co-educational institution following the Central Syllabus (CBSE), is established and managed by the Mary Matha Province of the Vincentian Congregation (VC). As a religious minority educational institution, it enjoys the rights and privileges guaranteed by the Indian constitution. Inspired by the life and teachings of St. Vincent De Paul, the Vincentian Congregation was founded in 1904 at Thottakom, Kerala, by V. Rev. Fr. Varkey Kattarath. Over the years, the congregation has expanded its reach, with three Provinces—Mary Matha, St. Joseph, and St. Thomas—extending their services across India and internationally in countries such as Italy, Germany, Kenya, Tanzania, Nairobi, U.S.A., and Canada. The management of De Paul Public School is committed to providing excellent education through its network of schools and colleges across the country, alongside numerous social service centers. Notably, the Vincentian Congregation has spearheaded the establishment of the internationally renowned divine retreat centers at Potta and Muringoor in Kerala.
