Burdwan Model School (BMS) is a renowned educational institution established by Oriental Association for Education and Research Society. Comprised of esteemed individuals including industrialists, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, academicians, physicians, and management experts, the society's vision was to establish a comprehensive skill-based school with both residential and day-boarding facilities. Drawing inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore's insightful advice on education, the society aimed to create a school where students could join at the Nursery/KG level and receive education up to the Post Graduate level, all under one roof. Recognizing the importance of adapting to the globalized society, the members of the society felt the need to reevaluate teaching methodologies. Thus, Burdwan Model School (BMS) was founded, located away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
