Known for its excellent infrastructure and residential facilities, the school is managed by the Diocese of Cuttack, Church of North India, through a dedicated Managing Committee. The foundation stone of Stewart School, Bhubaneswar was laid on July 8, 1960 by Dr. H.K. Mohatab, the then Chief Minister of Odisha. The school embarked on its journey under the guidance of Rev. E.G. Collins, its first principal. One of Mr. Collins' visions was the establishment of a new boarding house in Stewart School, Bhubaneswar, which aimed to become the best-managed hostel in Eastern India, a unique proposition considering the decline of other hostels in the region. The motto of Stewart School is to facilitate the holistic development of its students.
