Shree Jain Vidyalaya Overview
Shree Jain Vidyalaya, a prestigious educational institution, was founded on 17th March, 1934 by a group of young and dedicated individuals from the Jain Community and the active members of SHREE SHWETAMBAR STHANAKVASI JAIN SABHA. Originally situated in the bustling Burrabazar area, the school quickly gained popularity and expanded its facilities. It eventually moved to its current location at 18/D, Phusraj Bachhawat Path (previously known as Sukeas Lane). In 1958, the school was upgraded to a high school offering classes up to class X. Subsequently, on 1st April 1960, it received recognition from the West Bengal Board for the old Higher Secondary system. In July 1976, the school was also recognized by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary for classes XI and XII. Shree Jain Vidyalaya conducts its classes in English and takes pride in maintaining a remarkable record of achieving a hundred percent pass rate for over three decades. The school's success is attributed to the unwavering dedication of
