A.k Ghosh Memorial High School Overview
The renowned A.K Ghosh Memorial High School, located in Rajendra Prasad Colony, Kolkata, is a reputed institution that offers admissions to aspiring students. Founded in 1968 by Late Dr. (Mrs.) Kamala Ghosh, the school was initially known as Aunty Edith School. However, it was later renamed A.K. Ghosh Memorial School in memory of her late husband, Sri A.K. Ghosh, the founder president of the school. The school was shifted to its current premises at Lake Gardens. In 1977, the first batch of students appeared for the Madhyamik Pariksha, and their results were outstanding. Since then, the school has consistently upheld its commitment to academic excellence. In 1999, the school expanded to a Higher Secondary level, and today, it offers education in all three streams of the H.S. section. A.K.
