Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan Overview
Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan is a modern and multipurpose girls Higher Secondary School, which is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The school was conceptualized by Sri Basudeo Tikmany in 1987, and with the support of Agrasain Seva Samity and members of the Agarwal Community, it became a reality. The objective of the school was to provide a good English Medium education that would help in the complete personality development of the students according to International Standards. The school received generous contributions from the Agarwal Community, which greatly strengthened the project. The foundation laying ceremony took place on 25th March 1994, with the then Governor of West Bengal, His Excellency Sri K. V. Raghunath Reddy, officiating the event. Finally, on 3rd June 1996, Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan opened its doors to 524 girls and 25 teachers, with Sri S. K. Srivastava leading as the Principal.
