Don Bosco School Overview
Don Bosco School, Park Circus, Kolkata, founded in 1958, is an English Medium Anglo-Indian School for Catholic boys administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco (Northern India). Established as a minority institution under the Catholic Church, the school also welcomes non-Catholic boys. Our institution's aim is to provide value-based education, instilling in the boys habits of piety, virtue, discipline, and self-reliance throughout their studies. By doing so, we strive to nurture dutiful sons of the Catholic Church and productive citizens of India. The school follows the Preventive System taught and practiced by St. John Bosco, based on Reason, Religion, Faith, and Loving kindness. Our goal is to shape the young into men of character, competence, conscience, compassion, commitment, and without discrimination, who will uphold integrity in public life. Don Bosco School is recognized as a Christian Minority Institution by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India. Additionally, it is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations,
