St. Xaviers High School Overview
Welcome to the Official Website for St. Xaviers High School, your gateway to quality education. Established in 1869 by the Jesuits, our school has a rich history and is housed in a stunning neo-gothic building. As you walk through our corridors, you will come across traces of the past, such as the fascinating collection of stuffed animals that were once hunted by priests during the British Raj. This collection is akin to a museum, second only to the renowned BNHS section at the Prince of Wales Museum. Among the notable pieces in our collection is the butterfly and bird collection, located on the first floor. This extraordinary display showcases the work of Brother Navarro, a Spanish Jesuit and a renowned naturalist associated with our school. Another treasured specimen is the stuffed tiger on the third floor, donated by the Maharaja of Vanzra, Gujrat, who was an esteemed ex-student of our institution. As you explore further, you'll discover a fascinating piece of history
