Activity High School Overview
Activity High School is a distinguished educational institution that originated from the esteemed New Activity School, which was established in 1953 by the renowned educationist, Mrs. Dolat Doongaji. Recognizing the scarcity of Montessori Schools in the vicinity, Mrs. Doongaji took it upon herself to create her own school. After an extensive search, she came across an open terrace at Hughes Road (now 13 N.S.Patkar Marg) that was owned by the Tejpal Trust. Mr. Laxmichand Tejpal, the trustee of the Tejpal Trust, was captivated by Mrs. Doongaji's remarkable personality and agreed to construct a Nursery School for her on his terrace. With financial support from her mother, Mrs. Doongaji successfully built the New Activity School. Just like Alice in Wonderland's magical cake, the school grew at an astonishing rate and soon accommodated approximately 50 children. The school's success soared to new heights under the capable leadership of the late Mrs. Mani Rustomjee, who served as the Principal. This dedication and expertise garnered the
