St. Theresa Boys School Overview
The St. Theresas High School, known for its significant growth and development over the years, has transformed from a humble bamboo-walled and kerosene tin roof building to a remarkable structure that enhances the charm of TPS III. The construction of the School building was initiated on 3rd October, 1952, with the honored presence of His Eminence Valerian Cardinal Gracias during the laying of the foundation stone. However, due to land constraints, the progress was temporarily halted and only resumed in 1954, under the exceptional guidance of Brother Damsus Pley SVD. In 1955, the school commenced its journey with 118 pupils under the competent leadership of Fr. Parch SVD, who served as its first Principal. Notably, St. Theresas prospered into a fully-fledged High School in 1961, with the successful completion of the first batch of students appearing for the SSC examinations. Subsequently, in 1963, all girls sections, with the exception of Std. X and XI, relocated to Duruelo Convent. The year 1968
