Atomic Energy Central School 5 Overview
Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an Autonomous Body, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, offers education to the children of DAE employees up to the junior college level. AEES operates Atomic Energy Central Schools and Junior Colleges throughout the country, and these schools are affiliated with CBSE and other State Boards. Currently, AEES has 31 Schools/Junior Colleges located at fourteen different centers, catering to a total of 27,287 students. These educational institutions are supported by a dedicated team of 1,165 teaching and 275 non-teaching staff members, resulting in a student-teacher ratio of approximately 20:1. AEES is committed to achieving excellence in both academic and non-academic domains. To this end, the organization has made significant improvements such as enriching the school libraries, implementing computer aided education, enhancing sports facilities, introducing adventure sports, conducting in-service training programs for teachers, developing multimedia resources, and organizing enrichment programs for students.
